The recommended hotels for accommodation are as listed. For ease of access to Abdullah Gül University, staying in a city centre hotel will be convenient. (City centre hotels: Ibis Kayseri, Novotel Kayseri, Radisson Blu, Wyndham Grand, etc.)
Transport
The easiest way to get to Kayseri is by using the airport (KAYSERI ASR). The airport is conveniently located near recommended hotels (Radisson Blu and Wyndham Grand) and Abdullah Gül University. A taxi ride from the airport takes approximately 10 minutes to the university and 15 minutes to the recommended hotels.
Trams and buses
Participants are able to use public transport including tram and buses. Kayseri has its own transportation card. Participants can buy a card and charge it with money. Additionally, participants can use own your credit/debit card in the buses and trams.
Currency
The official currency of Türkiye is the Turkish Lira (TL). Hotels can also accept payments in EUR. You can easily use TL almost everywhere. (1 EUR = 50 TL)
Emergency Number
The emergency number for all services (ambulance, police, etc.) is 112. When you call this number in an emergency and explain the situation, you will be automatically directed to the appropriate emergency service.
