Transport

You may travel to Nantes by train or by plane.

Then you may use local public transport operated by https://naolib.fr/en, or use a taxi or Uber, or rent a car from the airport or the train station. A single ticket valid for bus or tram costs 1.80 € when bought at ticket machines and 2.50 € when bought to the bus driver. It is then valid for 1 hour. Note that you may also buy a ticket valid for bus or tram during 24h, it will cost you 6.60 €. Ultimately, you may use a shuttle bus to travel from the airport to the city centre or train station in 20 minutes time, it will cost you 10 €, see https://www.nantes.aeroport.fr/en/acces-and-transports/airport-shuttle

The map below explains how to reach the Gustave Eiffel University campus. The campus is located south-west of Nantes and outside the city (close to the airport). By public transport, reaching the campus from the train station will take about 50 minutes, and about 45 minutes from the airport (the former will improve next year since a new shuttle bus line under construction will become operational!). PLEASE STOP AT THE SITE RECEPTION TO CHECK IN.

Lunches

A campus restaurant located in a walking distance from the meeting rooms will welcome in-person participants for the lunches on June 16th and 17th. The cost should be less than 10 € per lunch, depending on the courses chosen. Payment shall be made by credit card.

Social program on June 16th

If in-person participants are interested, I can arrange a (brief) visit of the city centre and a diner on June 16th. Please let me know if you are interested ASAP.
